Walter Samuel injury hits Inter hard

Walter Samuel‘s season is apparently over after Sunday match against Brescia.
“The Wall” damaged the ligament of right knee after a collision with Andrea Caracciolo.
The tests made by Inter medical staff confirmed that the Argentine will miss the rest of the season.
This news could not be worse for Benitez as there are a lot of injuries in Inter squad.
Javier Zanetti showed the attachment for his colleague: “Walter has already shown he knows how to come back stronger than before, we are all behind him. We are all waiting for him. He is one that never gives up.”
Inter will probably look for a defender in the January transfer period.
The other alternative is to use Cordoba or Chivu to partner Lucio. The second one is the most probable because in that case Santon could also play on the left.
