Paul Scholes retires from football

Paul Scholes decided that it’s time for him to hang up his boots and start coaching career.
The English veteran played his last game for Manchester against Barcelona last week in the European Championship final, a game that ended with a defeat for him.
The former English international was one of the best players until a few years ago. Scholes is one of the football legends now who played only for one club and at the same time one of the most awarded footballers as he won no more than 24 medals.
Scholes is one of the players from that gold generation who were promoted by Sir Alex Ferguson to the first team along with Beckham, Neville brothers.
Scholes is considered by many the best England midfielder and one of the best midfielder of this decade.
The 36 years old midfielder will remain at Manchester United to help Ferguson as a coach to keep the club on the same level or even better.
Scholes started his senior career in 1994 and made over 460 appearances for Manchester and 66 for England.
