Can somebody stop Inter?

0

In the last 4 years Inter have won three scudetti, two italian cups and three super cups.

All this trophys except the last super cup were won under Roberto Mancini mandate.

Of course we must take in consideration that Inter profited from the Calciopoli scandal two years ago when Juventus was relegated and Fiorentina and Milan started the next year with some points deduction.

Anyway they manage perfectly the situation and they succeed to finish 22 points in front of the runners Roma.

Last year they started very good again and it looked like they will repeat same performances and finish champions before the end of the season.

But after the second leg with Liverpool the problems began maybe not only because of the loose but also because of the injuries.

Even if they had the biggest squad in Seria A they were forced some times to use some players on different position that were used to play.

Inter manage somehow to win the third consecutive scudetto in the last Serie A match against Parma.

At the end of the season he was sacked by Massimo Moratti, just because of the weak results that Inter had in European Champions League. Last year they lost in the second round of the competition in front of Liverpool.

Jose Mourinho was brought and there are voices that sustain that he signed a precontract just after the european elimination.

Also like we were used, Inter moved on transfer market and the arrival of Mancini from Roma, Muntari from Portsmouth and Adriano who was loaned at Sao Paolo to the delighted the fans.

Quaresma from Porto is also expected to sign for Inter, so that Mourinho can apply his 4-3-3 tactic with two wingers to sustain the striker.

The expectations are bigger this season and the main objective this season will be European succes.

Also the competitors were active on transfer market mostly Fiorentina and Milan who made importants signing like Ronaldinho, Flamini, Senderos, Boriello, Schevcenko for Milan and Gilardino, Vargas, Melo, Jovetic, Almiron.

Roma had signed only two important players Julio Baptista from Real Madrid, Riise from Liverpool and is still looking to for another attacher who will be one of Suazo, Menez or Malouda.

Juventus had signed Amauri from Palermo, Sevilla’s Poulsen, Mellberg on a free transfer. The others are not so notable.

Considering the perfect start, the returning of Chivu, Materazzi , Cordoba, Viera, most notable, and the mentality that Mourinho transmits to the players is hard to believe that other team will manage to steal the glory from Inter side.

Moti will join Lazio this week

0

After buying last year Stefan Radu, Lazio are trying to secure the signature of his past defensive team-mate Cosmin Moti.

Radu had a very good half season at Lazio and he manage to secure a first team place in the team.

Lazio will follow the same procedure with Moti, a loan with option to buy if the player satisfies the coach expectations.

Cosmin Moti already expressed his wish to join Lazio adding that he made his job at Dinamo and now he needs to make the step to a bigger team. Lazio is one of them, stated the 23 year old romanian international.

Lazio tried to secure his signature even at the beginning of the transfer campaign but the Dinamo bosses didn’t agree his move.

Now after the returning of Gabriel Tamas they are more open to negociate it.

Now it remains only to agree on transfer fee, because Dinamo chiefs are asking 2 million dollars at the beginning and other 4 for a transfer but Lazio are willing to pay 500000 dollars less.

The players agent Ioan Becali is very optimistic and declared that the papers will be made this week.

With this move Lazio will secure a young couple of center defenders. Lazio are trying to find a team now for Stendardo, which seams to not make part anymore of Rossi plans.

Is Shevchenko signing really worth?

1

This week Milan had completing the signing of Andriy Shevchenko from Chelsea. Even if the news of the arrival of one of the most succesfull player from Milan recent history was welcomed by most of the players and supporters there are some which don’t saw it like a good thing for Milan.

One of them is Shevchenko’s old team mate Alesandro Costacurta who consider that sheva’s return will influence the development of the other two strikers, Pato and Boriello.

Another one who doubts Milan’s benefit from this transfer is Shevchenko’s former coach at Chelsea Jose Mourinho who recently recognize that he never wanted Sheva at Chelsea.

Considering the good relation between Ancelotti and Shevchenko and the support that Shevchenko has from the fans it is hard to believe that the Ukranian hit-man will start from the bench.

Also many football people consider that Shevcenko’s best days have past and considering his advanced years will be very difficult for any coach to bring him to his past form.

Also it is supposed that Chelsea accepted Shevcenko‘s returning to Milan only after they received a transfer option on Milan‘s star Kaka, which is highly regard by Scolari and Roman Abramovich.

Now it remains to see how Ancelotti deals with the situation and how will he manage to keep every striker happy.

Kaka is not interested in a move to Chelsea

“My goal is to win, Milan‘s is too. As long as we are like that, I’ll remain at Milan.” claimed AC Milan midfield player Kaka.
He has  stated that he is happy at Milan and has no plans of moving to a different club.
Altghough Chelsea are reported to be offering a record breaking £80million for him the brazil international seems to prefer to stay with his current club. Rumors suggest that the Blues are in pole position to sign Kaka after releasing Andriy Shevchenko to the italians giants earlier this week.

Another inconvenient could be the arrival of former FC Barcelona player Ronaldinho.

They could not like each other,  Kaka criticized
Ronaldinho during the world cup which did not sit well with Ronaldinho.
Plus Kaka is the most popular AC Milan player but with Ronaldinho coming in,
tensions could rise as both will try to compete for the fans.

However Kaka insists that his focus is on helping Milan win Serie A champioship title
and UEFA Cup double this season.

Here’s what Kaka told in Gazzetta dello Sport:

“Me going to Chelsea? I’m staying as a Rossoneri player. I should help Milan to win the trophies we’re up for this season. The club have made some great signings and Sheva will fit in without any problems.I can’t say if I’ve been included in the Shevchenko deal, because if someone has promised me to Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, it wasn’t me. I’ve always said I’m happy at Milan and as long as my aims remain the same as Milan’s I’ll stay here. Until now it’s always been that way. My goal is to win, Milan‘s is too. As long as we are like that, I’ll remain at Milan.”

Time will tell if Chelsea‘s temptations can be overhealming for the players affection for the
Rossoneri.
