Cristiano Ronaldo has had a massive improvement in his football qualities since his transfer from Sporting to Manchester United.He has already won UEFA Champions League and the title with his club team Manchester United scoring and amazing 42 goals in all competitions last season.This summer he almost signed with all time UEFA Champions League winners Real Marid, but thanks to the Manchester’s United coach Sir Alex Ferguson, the devil fans will watch him play for their favourite club at least another season.

Sure his a very talented player, has won a lot of titles but still there where other players like him before.So what could make him become the best player in the world?Football legend Eusebio seems to know a lot more.He stated that Cristiano Ronaldo has everything it takes to become the best player in the world.

All he needs to do is, accordingly to Eusebio, is keep a good condition and keep his head in the right place.He has the advantage of being young and each year he can accumulate even more experience, and get better and improve on the pitch.Eusebio advices him to work on improving his pace and ball control and continue his ascending line.

Time will tell if Eusebio‘s ability to predict the future is true or not.

Derby in Milano, Inter versus Milan

Milano is a city that is mostly famous for it’s fashion, and this Saturday was the end of the fashion week, but that not’s the only thing the city is famous for.The big derby match Inter AC Milan is an event that catches the attention of not only the whole city but also the attention of the whole world.

It’s a special match that neither of the sides consider loosing and the rivalry between the two giants AC Milan and Inter has it’s roots deepened in history.

Currently José Mourinho‘s Inter are leading in serie A and gathered ten points from four matches, won their UEFA Champions league first match in this season, and also won the Italian super cup, so they are looking in top form and are considered to be favorites.

On the other hand AC Milan had an hesitating start in serie A having lost twice with Bologna and Genoa
before starting to improve with wins against Lazio and Regina.Also Milan has some injury problems Andrea Pirlo and Marco Borriello being currently injured, but this might be a chance for Andrey Shevchenko to play against his former manager at Chelsea José Mourinho.

Although Inter look like favorites and Inter‘s captain Javier Zanetti who played his 600th league appearance for the club in the last win match is confident of a victory, in a special match like this one with
the emotional and ambition charge from the two sides there’s no clear favorite and it can be anyone’s game.
Fans are looking forward to it.

Catalan Derby between FC Barcelona and Espanyol

These two teams FC Barcelona and Espanyol, have been there from the beginning, and there’s nothing more interesting than a local derby between two football teams from the same city.

The derby is a real special game one filled with history, passion and desire to defeat the opponent.This Saturday’s derby is just another episode,the 147 meeting between Espanyol and Barcelona.

Another particularity that makes this derby special is the fact that both of the teams coaches ,Bartolomé ‘Tintín’ Márquez and Josep Guardiola, are catalan and both of them where emblematic midfield players for the two sides, and participated in previous derbies as football players.Now Josep Guardiola and Bartolomé ‘Tintín’ Márquez will face each other from the bench.Although taking a visit to the both teams trophy room shows clearly that Barcelona has been more successful than their local rival Espanyol, this doesn’t affect the emotional charge between the game.

Guardiola stated that this match is a match that the whole city is enjoying and is looking forward

Can too much success,too soon damage Zenit?

In the football history there where some examples of teams that have managed to gain success in a short period of time, rise up from the status of outsiders to favorites , and then after the quick success came
even a quicker downfall.

Is this happening to Zenit aswell?Is the team that gained success so quickly going to fall?Zenit‘s players last season won the UEFA cup, some of them played the EURO 2008 semifinals with Rusia their
national team , and lifted the UEFA Super Cup in a tremendous encounter with everyone’s favorite Manchester United.But after these huge successes Dick Advocat‘s team isn’t doing very well currently.

In the rusian premier league they are 17 points behing the leader FC Rubi Kazan, and in UEFA Champions league they have suffered a defeat against Juventus.More than that their next match in UEFA Champions league is against no other than the all time winner of UEFA Champions league,Real Madrid.

Dick Advocat has no other option but a win against Madrid otherwise Zenit might begin the downfall and become another team that met glory too soon.

Less then a year after Taylor‘s horrible tackle on Eduardo another similar incident happened in Tuesday League Cup game Middlesbrough against Manchester United.

Middlesbrough captain Emanuel Pogatetz had a criminal tackle on Brazilian youngster Possebon. Possebon required oxygen while it was removed from the field.
Pogatetz immediately received the red card. What’s really annoying is that Pogatetz protested at the referee decision.
Manchester manager Sir Alex Ferguson was really disappointed about the Pogatetz attitude. The Reds feared that Rodrigo has broke his leg but the Wednesday scans revealed that he suffered only ligament damage.
The Austrian will serve at least three-match ban. After the match Pogatetz accepted his fault and apologized.
Pogatetz declared that he hopes the Brazilian will recover soon.
However this things should not happen in a sport like football. One possible reason why this things repeat so often could be the tolerance of the English Federation.
Taylor received only three-match ban after broking Eduardo’s leg.
This kind of injuries could end the players career and the Federation should do something about it.
