Two of Serie A most important teams, considered to be favorites for the top fight, AS Roma and Juventus Torino are beginning to show their limits as their players seem to have lost their motivation and self confidence.
Roma lost it’s third game this season against modest team of AC Siena.The goal was scored by the Liechtenstein striker Mario Frick, and Roma finished the game in nine man after loosing Philippe Mexès and Christian Panucci due to second-half red cards.
On the other hand Juventus, another team with high season objectives lost against Palermo with 2-1.Fabrizio Miccoli scored the first goal of the meeting for Palermo and although Del Piero leveled the score by half time,in the second half Juventus lost Mohamed Sissoko due to a second yellow card, and Levan Mchedlidze scored the winning goal in the 81 minute.
After six matches were played,Juventus currently occupy position eleven in the table with nine points, four points behind the leader, while Roma are in fourteen position with seven points.
Having this into consideration both of these teams managers Spalleti and Ranieri can start woring for their positions, since the teams aren’t going in a good direction.As for Ranieri he is ,at least for now, officially backed by the Juventus chairman Giovanni Cobolli Gigli, but if Juventus doesn’t change it’s direction and fast he may start looking for another job.
