Will this be the most active winter transfer period?

Usually big clubs are not strengthen the squad in the winter transfer period, they prefer to do it at the end of the seasons not in the middle of them. For example Barcelona had not buy any player in the last 3 or 4 years in the winter period.

Well this year it looks like the things have changed a little. In the first place Manchester City, who spent over  €350 millions in the last 3 years, shows that from the financial point of view they are above all. They prepared another  €32 millions for Edin Dzeko, the Bosnian striker who is wanted also by Manchester United and Juventus. On the other way Tevez and Adebayor would gladly leave the club.

Manchester United also are prepared to spend €120 millions for Sneider, Buffon and a world-class striker.

Mourinho is everywhere … after winning the “best coach of the year” award. He is trying to strengthen the squad with Florian Lejeune, as a backup for Ramos, and one striker. Asamoah Gyan, Milito,Lukaku,Nilmar, Forlan or Adebayor are some of the targets for Mourinho. One of them will probably arrive at Bernabeu to replace the injured Higuain. But let’s not forgot about Fabregas. Mourinho would be glad to buy one of the best Barcelona’s products.

Barcelona as the other big teams has his main targets. After Fabregas deal dropped last summer they focus their attention on Nasri. The scouts were impressed by his qualities when they watched Fabregas.

Cassano is probably the last transfer for Milan as the finances are running out. The Rossoneri are willing to give up on Ronaldinho, who is wanted at Blackburn, Flamengo and Gremio.

Roma is following Shay Given situation at City, who is not in the first plans of Mancini. Napoli, Malaga and Galatasaray are interested about the Mutu’s situation at Fiorentina. Inter have showed interest in buying Torres, Kaka and Sanchez. Inter are supposed to be offered €52 millions on Torres.

Also an exchange Kaka- Maicon could be on cards as this move was already discussed last summer.

Lacina Traore from CFR Cluj is wanted by some Premier League clubs, one of them is Liverpool who is trying to find another good striker when Torres is unavailable.
