Will Robin van Persie leave Arsenal too?

Robin van Persie recent comments regarding his contract renewal have raised some doubts over his future.

Van Persie’s contract with Arsenal ends in 2013 and the club board are willing to offer him an extension in order to not lose him on a free or being forced to sell him for a cheap price. This was the case with Fabregas and Nasri who refused to renew their deals at Emirates

The Dutch international declared that he has not time to think about his future with the club now as there are more important things to do at the moment. He also declared that he just want’s to concentrate on football and help the team reach their objectives.

Van Persie joined the club in 2004 and since then he developed into a key member of the team. The 28 years old forward took the captain armband after Fabregas left the club for Barcelona last summer.

In this seven years spent at Arsenal he scored 69 goals in a62 games. Van Persie played three seasons for Feyenoord before joining the Premier League club.
