Will Inter sign Bastian Schweinsteiger?

Latest reports from Italy suggest that Inter are ready to offer €30 millions on Bayern starlet Bastian Schweinsteiger.

The German international was on Inter transfer list also last summer but the transfer was not realized. Schweinsteiger is on top of the list for most of the big clubs and Bayern are hoping to reach an agreement on contract extension before winter break.

Inter are looking for a talented midfielder to help Sneijder on the offensive phase. The 26 years old midfielder was one of Bayern best men last season when they won Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal titles and they reach the European Champions League finals.

Bastian Schweinsteiger is one of Bayern academy products along with Lahm, Hargreaves and Hitzlsperger. He joined the first team in 2002 and since then he scored 24 goals in 229 appearances. He scored 21 goals also for Germany in 83 games.

With this move Benitez is trying to save his job at Inter after a weaker start of the season. Schweinsteiger still has two more years with Bayern and  he declared that he will stay at least until the end of 2012 with The  Bavarians.
