Will Galatasaray sign Drenthe?

Galatasaray are one of the most active clubs on the transfer market this summer. The Turkish club is close to give another blow on the transfer market after the signing of Felipe Melo from Juventus,  Muslera from Lazio or Eboue from Arsenal.

Royston Drenthe is close to sign for Galatasaray but the player need to resolve his situation with Real Madrid before. Drenthe has one more year at Bernabeu but he will be probably allowed to leave the club for no fee.

The 24 years old player is not part of Jose Mourinho plans neither this season. Last season he was loaned to Hercules.

Drenthe joined real Madrid in 2007 for a sum of around of €14 millions but he failed to impress at Bernabeu.

Drenthe started his career at Feyenord. He spent there seven years, two of them with the senior squad, before joining Real Madrid
