Will Forlan join Inter?

Diego Forlan surprised everyone when he announced that he terminate the contract with Altletico Madrid.

Forlan arrived at Atletico in 2007 from Villareal for a sum of around €23 millions. He was a key member of the squad and he played a major role in Europa League and European Super Cup success last year.

The 32 years old striker was one of the best players from South Africa World Cup but his form suffered a bit at the end of last year and he lost his starting place at his club.

Internationale were interested in signing him and apparently they reach an agreement with the player. The Uruguayan international was supposed to replace Samuel Eto’o in Inter attack and Atletico were prepared to let him go.

Forlan started his career at Independiente. He moved to Manchester United in 2001 where he spent 3 seasons. He failed to establish as a key player at United and he was allowed to join Villarreal but he was regretted later.
