Sahin returns to Dortmund after 2 years

Nuri Sahin left Borussia Dortmund for Real Madrid in 2011 but the injuries and bad luck kept him away from the starting lineup.

Even if he is still considered one of the best central midfielders at the moment he was allowed to move to Liverpool on loan at the start of this season. That’s because Real considered that he would get much chances of playing at Liverpool.

And indeed that was the case at the beginning but then slowly disappeared from the starting lineup. Surprisingly Liverpool decided to give up on the player in the favor of Borussia.

Sahin returns at Westfalenstadion after 2 years. He will spent at least 18 months at Borussia according to the loan contract.

Jurgen Klopp was very delighted with the arrival of one of his favorite players. He declared that this will add more competition at midfield and also would allow some midfield players to play more offensively.
