Chelsea has managed to crush it’s premier league opponent Sunderland in a strong and convincing manner, by claiming the win with no less than five goals difference.
The man of the day for Chelsea, was no other that the french player Nicolas Anelka, the most paid-for player in football history having commanded more than 85 million GBP in transfer fees.He managed the score a hattrick against Sunderland and humiliate the adversary.Chelsea took advantage of every chance it had and scored as much as it could, by the half time the score was 3-0 for Chelsea , the goals being scored by Anelka (30,45) and Alex (27).It was Frank Lampard who made it 4-0 in 51th minute and the final score was set by again Anelka who completed the hattrick two minutes later. The goal scored against Sunderland was for Frank Lampard his 100th league goal, while Anelka reached the 8th goal this season for Chelsea.
Meanwhile, the other main title contenders, Manchester United won against Hul City with 4-3, Arsenal lost with 2-1 against Stoke City, and Liverpool played against Totenham the last place in premier league.Chelsea currently seem to be in top shape, and seem to have the resources to continue the long race for the title, but there still is a long way to go and surelly teams like Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal will have something to say until the end of the championship.
