Newcastle United back to top football after only one year

Newcastle United promoted to Premier League after only one year spent in English second division.

With only four rounds to go Newcastle United are leading the Championship with 89 points, 17 more than Nottingham Forest which is on third place.

“The Magpies” went through hard times at the end of last year when along with the relegation came Alan Shearer decision to left the team management after only eight games. Also Mike Ashley,the club owner, even considered to sell the club but eventually changed his mind.

Chris Hutton was appointed as the new manager of Newcastle United as a short term solution.

The results proved that his appointment was a wise decision and he remain in charge for the rest of the season.

Now the fans expect from the team to win the Championship and some good new players from the management at the end of the year.

Considering the club reputation it is expected that the club will invest a fairly large amount of money to lead Newcastle back where it was a few years ago
