Manchester City sign Jovetic

Manchester City have announced that they have signed Stevan Jovetic from Fiorentina. The transfer cost City €27 millions but could rise to €30 millions depending on the player performances. The 23 years old forward will receive a salary of around €100.000 a week.

Juventus and Arsenal were also interested in signing him but both clubs did not want to pay the release clause. Jovetic will reunite with his former club partner Nastasic.

Fiorentina have already found a replacement for him. Mario Gomez from Bayern will join the Serie A club these days.

Jovetic is Manchester City fourth signing after Jesus Navas, Fernandinho and Negredo also joined the Premier League club.
