“My goal is to win, Milan‘s is too. As long as we are like that, I’ll remain at Milan.” claimed AC Milan midfield player Kaka.
He has stated that he is happy at Milan and has no plans of moving to a different club.
Altghough Chelsea are reported to be offering a record breaking £80million for him the brazil international seems to prefer to stay with his current club. Rumors suggest that the Blues are in pole position to sign Kaka after releasing Andriy Shevchenko to the italians giants earlier this week.
Another inconvenient could be the arrival of former FC Barcelona player Ronaldinho.
They could not like each other, Kaka criticized
Ronaldinho during the world cup which did not sit well with Ronaldinho.
Plus Kaka is the most popular AC Milan player but with Ronaldinho coming in,
tensions could rise as both will try to compete for the fans.
However Kaka insists that his focus is on helping Milan win Serie A champioship title
and UEFA Cup double this season.
Here’s what Kaka told in Gazzetta dello Sport:
“Me going to Chelsea? I’m staying as a Rossoneri player. I should help Milan to win the trophies we’re up for this season. The club have made some great signings and Sheva will fit in without any problems.I can’t say if I’ve been included in the Shevchenko deal, because if someone has promised me to Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, it wasn’t me. I’ve always said I’m happy at Milan and as long as my aims remain the same as Milan’s I’ll stay here. Until now it’s always been that way. My goal is to win, Milan‘s is too. As long as we are like that, I’ll remain at Milan.”
Time will tell if Chelsea‘s temptations can be overhealming for the players affection for the
Rossoneri.
