Juventus re-signed Giovinco

Giovinco is a product of the Juventus youth academy. In 2007 he made the step to the first team but he failed to establish as an important player as Del Piero, the one who was playing in the same position as Giovinco, was at his best at that moment.

The 25 years old attacker was considered one of the most promising young midfielders and Juventus didn’t want to lose him. But for progressing Giovinco needed to play and that’s why Juventus loan him to Empoli and Parma.

After a good season at Parma a few clubs were interested in signing him, Arsenal among them, but  Juventus have chose the best option. They sold half of the player rights at Parma. And it was another successfully season with Parma in which Giovinco scored 15 goals in 36 appearences.

This performances and the departure of Del Piero made Juventus buy the other 50 percent of the player rights. The Turin giants have paid €11 millions for the 50 percent and the player have signed a three years deal.
