Is Nesta’s career over?
Posted on | November 8, 2008 | 2 Comments
AC Milan defender Alessandro Nesta has been bothered by injuries lately and failed to make any official appearance for Milan this season.
Football fans around the world are wondering if they will ever see Nesta on the pitch again.
Nesta has been allowed by the club to fly to Miami to see a specialist. The 32 year old defender hopes that he will not need any operation on his back and that he will return on the field as soon as possible.
The former SS LAzio player is regarded as one of the best defender in the world.
Nesta is four-time member of the Uefa Team of the Year, winner of Serie A, Coppa Italia, SuperCoppa Italia, Uefa Cup, Uefa Super Cup, Champions League and World Cup.
Milan are doing great in Uefa Cup and Serie A, being on the top of the standing for the first time in 4 years in Italy.
As a football fan I hope that Nesta will return to action soon and that he will continue at the highest level for at least 3-4 years.

I agree with you and hope that he has a lot more time left in the game it would be a shame to lose a great talent.
Lets hope that the trip to the States can give him the treatment he needs to get back on the pitch.
