Does Inter really need Maradona?
Posted on | September 20, 2008 | 2 Comments
There are more and more voices sugesting that Maradona will be rewarded with a job in Inter‘s coaching staff.
It is well known the good relation between Morratti and Maradona.
Besides the impact that this potential move would have, there might be another interest.
Maradona could be used to convince Atletico’s wonderkid Kun Aguero to join Inter. It is well known that Morratti is an admirer of Aguero. Inter already tried to get Aguero to San Siro this summer but their offer was refused.
Aguero who’s contract expires in 2012 has a € 55m release clause.
Aguero has a superb start of the season with Atletico in both Primera and Champions League, in last one managing to score two goals in magnificent victory from Philips Stadium 3-0 with PSV.

Wow 20012, that is a long contract, however i think his performance may dramatically deteriorate after the first 80 years or so

This makes for a quite interesting scenario. It would not be the first that a team used a member to attract another.
