David Villa the new Barcelona acquisition

After a season in which Barcelona managed to win only Primera Division title despite being the main favorite to win the Champions League, Guardiola is already strengthening his team for the next season.

Although Messi managed to score 47 goals in all competitions this season, 34 of them in Primera for which he received the Golden Boot, it seems that Guardiola is not satisfied with the attack. Barcelona managed to secure the services of the Spanish goalscorer David Villa from Valencia for which they paid around €40 millions.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who came from Inter Milan last summer and which was seen by Guardiola as the ideal striker for Barcelona, seems to be out of the next seasons plans. Ibrahimovic often disappointed even if he scored 16 times only in Primera. He will probably be sold in England where is wanted by all major clubs or will be used as exchange for one of Fabregas, Rooney or Torres.

If these teams would refuse the exchange then Man City could be an option considering that they were always after big names lately.

Fabregas is also with one foot at Barcelona after latest reports which indicate that he already announced Arsene Wenger that he is determined to return back to Camp Nou.
