Barcelona, the goal machine

Barcelona is the leader of Primera Division with 25 points in 10 games.

Barcelona‘s last victim was Real Valladolid who has received a real football lesson. It was 6-0 in a match in which Eto’o played with the defence, managing to score 4 goals.

The other two goals were scored by Gudjhonsen and Henry. After this game Barcelona has an impressive average of 3.4 goals per match, the same as Real Madrid had in 1959-1960 season after 10 matches.

It looks like Guardiola’s strategy works after a hesitant start at the beginning of the season. Guardiola imposed his players the same authority that he once demonstrated on the pitch. The football that his team plays starts to look like the one  they have practiced some seasons ago when they managed to win both Champions League and Primera Division.

In my oppinion Barcelona are playing one of the most attractive and attacking football in Europe and they deserve to be back in the race for titles.
