Barcelona signed Neymar

Barcelona have finally announced the signing of the Brazilian superstar Neymar. Santos and Barcelona were in negotiations over Neymar’s transfer since last year and it is believed that there was also a initial fee to secure the first option for the attacker.

Real Madrid also tried to secure the signing of Neymar but the costs were too big considering the compensations that should have been paid.

The transfer sum was around €28 millions and the player has signed a five years contract with the Spanish giants.

Neymar is considered by many the best Brazilian player and a player that can compete with Messi and Ronaldo for Ballon D’or but only after his move to Europe. Many experts considered that Neymar should have moved to Europe much earlier in order to help him develop as a footballer.

Neymar declared that he is very happy with the transfer and he can’t wait to play along with Messi and his colleagues.
