Anelka retired from France national team

Nicolas Anelka decided that is best for him to retire from national team.
This decision came after the 18 games ban applied by FFF after South Africa World Cup. Anelka had an altercation with former France coach, Raymond Domenech and refused to apologize.
From 1998 when he debuted at the national team Anelka scored 14 goals in 69 games and was among the players that won the European Championship in 2000.
The French striker is one of the few football players whose transfer amount exceeded €100 millions. He played during his career at clubs like PSG, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Liverpool, Fenerbahce, Manchester City and Bolton.
Since 2008 Anelka is a Chelsea player. The 31 years old striker declared that he is sure about his decision and that he plays in Blue every weekend with Chelsea.
Carlo Ancelotti, his current manager declared that he has a good relation with Anelka and that they never argue about anything.
